Since this topic of “Bible Doctrines” could become huge, OHMS has attempted to group doctrine
topics together in order to make it easier for readers to understand
them.
The following and their links are OHMS’s official position statements on the doctrinal topics they
discuss. They are Biblically accurate
positions and interpretations, though not necessarily culturally convenient
or church-approved.
Truth transcends opinion, tradition, and even respected church
leaders’ positions. OHMS respectfully requests that you
compare what we hold as True with Scripture alone.
Required
Reading (Core Doctrines)
In this section, you can read the four main points
of Biblical Christian doctrine that are essential to understanding God. 1. He is, and He alone is
God. 2. He has revealed Himself. 3. He is holy, every person
is a sinner, and our sin must be
punished. 4. Only
through Jesus, the Christ, can we be saved, and our salvation can only be
accomplished His way.
Salvation Can
Only Be God’s Way
Jesus said, “I am the way, the Truth, and the Life.
NO one comes to the Father but by Me.” – John 14:6.
“Neither
is there salvation in any other: for there is NO other Name under heaven
whereby we can be saved.”
– Acts 4:12. We could argue this, but
it would not change this fact. Click here for the details on how to be saved.
Finer Points

Contentious Doctrines
Rather than seek the Bible alone for sound doctrine
and accurate interpretation, many otherwise legitimate Bible doctrines have
become stuck in traditions of men.
Sadly, such traditions have become un-sound, although accepted,
doctrine instead of Truth on those same topics. OHMS
holds to the accurate interpretations as presented here.
